NKVD soldiers?

Hello Vvadim,
I have seen the rounded shoulderboards of those guards (a partly coloured reconstruction on another forum), if I remember well they are blue with a red piping.
Is the cap in the same colours than the other MVD troops ?

PS - It is also interesting to see buttonholes on the pocket flaps.

I do own one tunic with such (but sewn shut) and a few period images showing the same...

Any ideas what the grad badge is in the photo in #12? It is one of the rare ones I've seen with an emblem (usually the "gerb") at the top of the badge and of course I'm intrigued.;)

Didn't know that. I thought they were made according to certain regulations.

But didn't MVD change cap colour to brick red band and dark blue piping around 1950 (don't remember the exact date)?

I would dare to suggest that colors of shoulder boards and crown of the hat are the same.

Regulations were specifying number of buttons, not position of pocket flaps.
This is example of how tunic was converted according to regulation.

Changes you are referring to happened after Stalin’s death in mid fifties, not in 1950.
