Władysław Żelazny KBW NCO, later member of the parliament.
An interesting group of papers bought recently.
This group belonged to Władysław Żelazny, who was an NCO in the Interior Troops (KBW) in 1946-48, worked in the metal industry and was a member of the Parliament - elected in 1976 and re-elected in 1980, where he was a member of Heavy, Machine and Foundry Industry Comission, Foreign Affairs Comission and Industry Comission.
One may say that he has a surname adequate for someone related to the Metal industry - Żelazny is an adjective from Iron.
He was a member of the PPS (the socialist party) and after it's unification with (or rather - incorporation by) the PPR (Worker Party, the communists) had joined the ranks of newly created PZPR, and he was elected as a member of this party.
Unfortunately, lots of his stuff have been sold out to pieces. I even think I had one of his medal docs somewhere but can't find it.
