Keith,

I think in case of these three many award documents were simply given to the recipients not filled in. I can't really explain why, but this is also sometimes the case with 25th Anniversary of Victory Badge.

Alexei, would these unfilled cards be stamped? I doubt it. So I suppose it is possible that a card might be filled in by the recipient themselves?

just a thought

McLenin,

I have seen both stamped and unstamped ones. For some reason most of the Grateful Afghan People docs I have in stock are stamped.

Alexei

Gentlemen,

Peresumko and Rozhdestvensky documents came from a holesale dealer in NY, I have just seen some more docs from him - same hand writtings.

This is a fantasy ribbon bar offered on ebay. The green and light blue ribbons represent medals from Afghanistan:

I think the Afghan medal on a 5 sided suspension is more common than we might think. I purchased (and recently sold) one of these medals that was part of a suspended lot which included a full set of irreproachable service medals for the army (as well as a couple of jubilee medals).

I have also seen a tremendous amount of suspended post-USSR unofficial Russian commemerative medals (50 yrs. atomic energy, 80 yrs. KGB etc.) that occupy that far right position on suspended lots. Perhaps this is because I deal with Transnistrians?.....

To me it looks ok, but I am not the expert.

I am under the impression that these were issued in USSR, like yours with Soviet stamp, and in Afghanistan proper, with Afghan stamp. I have seen hand written and typed versions for USSR issued but only hand written for Afghan issued. But I have not seen that many.

Alexei? Ed?

Kameli,

It's hard to say, but many unissued documents already have Soviet stamps, so to make a fake all you need is to add a name.

Alexei

Here's one:

nobody knows?

Alexei,

that´s true. If someone has empty, stamped and original document, he can easily do it "very original".

Many thanks about your opinion!
