Translation Help
Could anyone help me with these? These are the paper labels on some boxes of packed patches I acquired and just wondered if anyone would tell me roughly what they say.

Re: Translation Help
All from Bikovskaya Fabrika (Bulls Fabric :D), 2nd line says "National Institution of Trades (GUT) Moscow Region (MO), USSR (CCCP)" (I think ). Where you see a stamp with a number there is written either "Controlled by" or "Packaged by".. :thumbsup

Re: Translation Help
In ГУТ МО СССР, the MO probably stands for Министерство Обороны (Ministry of Defence).

Can't read it/Can't find it in a dictionary!
Doing a bit of tidying up, translating recent acquisitions and storing away. As usual I have hit a few sections that I am unsure of/have no idea about.
Can any please help with these?

Re: Can't read it/Can't find it in a dictionary!
The final attachment shows a few sections from a red army book I am unsure of: (a) I understand that this is a Red Banner Artillery Regiment but what does the circled word mean?; (b) What do the circled words mean?; and (c) Does the circled bit say Independent Crimean Army?.
For (b) first circled word. I believe they are the letters the stand for Byelorussian SSR. |

Re: Can't read it/Can't find it in a dictionary!
This is the unit stamp in a red army id book. The stamp says Военно-Хозянственный Склад № 30 NKVD ?еверо Кавказского Округ which I have translated as NKVD Military-? Warehouse № 30 Northern Caucasus Okrug. The missing word is not translated by online translators but appears several times when I Google it. Any ideas?
Try this Хозяйственный in you translator. |

Re: Can't read it/Can't find it in a dictionary!
Even my native Russian-speaking wife couldn't quite get the VoG doc, as beautiful as the handwriting is.
As for the third doc, the first word (a) may be "mountain"? That would make sense in the context of a unit in the Caucuses. 796 Mountain Artillery Red Banner Regiment? I'll see if I can figure out more. <<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>> I'm working on 3b/second circle (I agree on Koopyetz's BSSR above). I guess he was not married and not with his parents, because this seems to be contact info for his sister? It looks like "sister" followed by family name followed by her first name followed by her patrynomic followed by the mystery abbreviation that I've seen before but cannot recall. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>> Okay, I'll go out on a limb now, and say that it gives an address, then it says literally something like "sister (insert name) lives here also" (something like "тот-же", meaning "ditto" or "the same").
