Re: 3 booklets
Eric,
Not necessarily, it all depends on how the booklets were kept through the years. Marc |

Just got this one; not my field of collecting but still interesting document for a recipient of the Nachimov medal and a Combat service. The booklet is dated 1946.

Re: Document for Nachimov medal
Nice document! Unfortunately you don't have the medals, certainly a good research potential!
:bigthumbsup If the document is for sale, you should post it in the marketplace section, I am sure that someone will be interested! :thumbsup

I have been trying to translate this booklet but am finding it difficult. I believe his first name to be Mikhail I would be very grateful for any help received Nev Last edited by CtahhR; 03-12-2012 at 07:09 PM. |

Re: BM
Possible,
I have a group with an Order of Glory and a Bravery medal (see picture). Two documents, for every award one. The document to the BM is from 1949. The document for the OG III is from 1948. The BM was awarded in 1944 and the OG III in 1945. Research confirmed the originality of both documents. Two award cards and two documents. regards Andreas |

Medal Booklet
Hello, first time here, I was looking for a website which can help me determine the authenticity on this booklet, which I bought online and I seemed to have found it :D.
Anyway, enough beating-around-the-bush, I would like you to confirm or deny the authenticity of this booklet. Notice: If you see these strange "air bubbles" on it, that's just because I haven't removed the protector-sheet from my scanner yet. :D Thanks and have a nice day! Re: "Veteran of Labor" booklet, real or fake?
Thanks to both of you and I will try to make better scans next time, I just got this canner/printer today and I still haven't figured out how the scanning software works exactly, plus I forgot to remove the screen protector. :D
Sadly, though, I didn't get the medal, only the booklet. Still nice value though, I got it for only 2 pounds, hehe. Although, I did get 3 authentic medals and 1 authentic pin from Communist Bulgaria to go along with it for a few more pounds. Confirmed by a local man who deals in Bulgarian Socialist medals, pins, badges and orders, so I guess I still got something. :) |
