Re: Wound Stripes
I am highly confident these are not cadet training stripes. I can make a scan of these wound stripes next to the cadet stripes. They are for one thing considerably smaller, and the color of the background fabric does not correspond to that of the training stripe colors that I have seen (blue, red, maroon, green, and black...although I am suspect on black).

Re: Wound Stripes
The only ones I have (part of the group to Lieutenant Colonel Vasily Ivanovich Andreev) are a strange plastic and metal pinback creature. Shown below. Though the only photo I have of him wearing the stripes (he was shot horizontally across the jaw, taking away most of the teeth, hence the strange Arnold Schwarzenegger "smile") is also shown.

Re: Wound Stripes
The stripes on the document photo and stripes you have are not the same.
Stripes on the photo are the same shown in my post. The plastik made were late postwar handmade by veteran himself or somebody else by his order. |

Re: Wound Stripes
I gotta say I like the plastic alot more, they seem to mesh better with the real awards and medals.
As for this guy, he does look an awful lot like Arnold! ...Has anybody seen the movie Red Heat. |
