the 20 year RKKA was a medal most prone to "wandering", especially on uniforms of 40's and 50's. The prestige of this proof of survival of both purges and war led to it being prominently placed on medal mounts, often ahead of "superior" awards. By the time a ribbon bar like this was created, however, I would have expected it to be in it's proper place. Or more nearly so.

I agree, it looks like a faded warsaw medal which was awarded to defenders and liberators (although I don't see a soviet liberation warsaw on the rack)

Yes, I am pretty sure it is a valiant labor medal. I also two of said medal with the ribbon faded to this shade of purple on one.

Left is normal. Right is extremely faded. Certainly not a lone occurrence.

I agree that this is most likely NOT the XX Year RKKA, but the labor one.

It's a VL, absolutely no doubt in my mind! I've seen similar combinations of mil/labor awards, and a VL followed by an ORBL or OBH (or both) is sort of a norm (and the occasional OFP or OOR thrown). Also, that somewhat faded color is completely normal due to both dye variance and fading. It's a VL.

I'd also guess that the CSM, ORS, one of the ORBs, and one of those Lenins are long service.

In this case it's ribbon infor the Medal for Valiant Labor. But I have an example of XX RKKA ribbon "in the wrong place". Here is it.

Early-mid 1960s, I'd guess a marshal or colonel-general. The XX RKKA is in a very weird position!

You are correct! Ribbon bar (I show) is for 1960s General of the Army (4 stars at shoulder boards).
