Fake Medals "For Combat Merits" - Page 32

What do you make of this strange serial number? Unfortunately this is the best imagine available. I think the leading "4" has been converted from a "1". Why one would do that, I have no idea :(

Hi,

Please I need some opinions about this "For Combat Merit Medal". Seems to me it's a Type 2.3.1, I'm correct? I'd like to know too if this kolodka and rear number are originals from this medal?

Hi,

I think, the whole medal looks strange - the "U - type" ring looks strange, especially with it`s grind marks (?) on the reverse, a possible artificial patina on it`s obverse, too big/ too sloppy digits on it`s reverse... etc. etc.

Could be a (modified) fake, I think.

Hi Lapa,

Have you one idea when this medal was issued, I find this one here in this forum with a very close number issued in 20 may 1945.

Just spotted this one. Again, I am attracted by the suspension but as you know I'm not able to distinguish originals from fakes
of course the medal comes with its gaika...
