Re: Aeroflot Uniforms and Insignia
...And you may want to look for a metallic cord; the one on your cap has been replaced by a modern, post-soviet cord.

Re: Aeroflot Uniforms and Insignia
I thot about changing the cap cord ya, i shall do that asap.
I have also been thinking about changing the visor for a period over that is intact. and may clean up some of the more viseble flaws. Is this a good plan ? A wail ago i have on another cap reattached a visor , but dont wanne ruin this cap.

Re: Aeroflot Uniforms and Insignia
Hey guys,
What sort of uniform would a pilot who held the rank of Senior Lieutenant but was part of the Civil Air Fleet wear? I'm talking about GPW era. I think the Civil Air Fleet were militarised at the time, but I didn't know if they wore had their own uniforms or if they just wore regular service uniforms. Thanks! Tom |

Re: Aeroflot Uniforms and Insignia
Hello friends
I got that nice AEROFLOT director's uniform. Maybe someone can give more details about it? Was it usual that they used army general buttons for the uniforms of the director's rank? What do you think about the visor cap? Thank you very much for your great help :-) |
