Hi all,

I just received the OPW II which I bought some time ago. It is a converted award with a low serial number. My question is the following: I received it with a screw plate which is not usual for this order (not the standard silver one). I this due to the fact that this order is converted? If so, should I keep the screw plate with this order or replace it with a silver one? Btw, the screw plate is 2,5 cm in diameter.

Do NOT replace the nut. It appears that this low s/n was originally on a suspension, then the owner took the suspension device's "hardware" and soldered it to the reverse of the body. A most interesting piece!

I agree with Paul completely. Leave it as it is - all the parts are original, just "rearranged".

Research would be a good idea.

Thanks for your advice and I'll definitely leave it as it is! I would love to do some research on this order but I don't know where to start... My Russian, to begin with, is not as it used to be... ;-)
