Poster:
I purchased this poster few months ago. Don't know if it's original or not, it sure looks original to me. The poster was made by one of the leading Soviet poster Caricaturist's Victor Deni. One of the first Soviet Posters of WW2.
Comments are welcome and greatly appreciated. |

Re: WW2 Moscow Poster:
Looks OK from what I can see, but you really should scan it because it is hard to judge with all the shine.
Regardless, it is rather amusing.:) Phillip

Re: WW2 Moscow Poster:
I agree - seems OK but is probably a later imprint rather than a 1940s one.
There is a short bio for Deni on Wikipedia Viktor Deni - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Simon |

We Were Allies Once...
Gents,
How quickly the "alliance" ended once the war concluded. The poster reads, "If they forget where the borders are, we'll help them land!" Regards, slava1stclass |

Well, with people like Patton on one side and Stalin on the other (who was paranoid about every other country trying to come in and undermine his dictatorship) it's amazing we didn't blow up the planet - though we certainly came closer to that than anyone wants to talk about.
This is a propaganda poster in which readers are to be expected to work in order to show their thanks to "Comrade Stalin." I couldn't care less about him, but what uniform is that fellow wearing whose hand is being shaken (and others are wearing in the background)? It looks like aviation engineers, but I'm no expert in this area. Thanks in advance, Phillip

Re: Posters
Here is a poster reading "We have one aim - Berlin" although it could just as easily read "It's a boy!".
