not much thoughts but only fear...the exceptionnaly high value of this piece is well worth the work of a skilled jeweker. Lapa told me good russian jewelers could fake any imperial or soviet high award on order, and i do believe you and Lapa of course.
For such pieces, profitability will be maintained despite of the cost of numerous hours of work of a skilled artisan, so the best protection aginst such copies remains...our money purses! (correct word?)

but beyond this discussion, we still don't have neither indication about the origin of the piece shown nor its price proposed????

The one New World showed is in private collection and not for sale!

I believe (per ******) the last one he sold was in the $20k - $30k neighborhood... he wouldn't disclose the actual sale price!

The pieces that I've seen (Photo's) all had the MM punched with different punch... so in my eyes it's fishy!!!

If Eugene says it's OK then chances are it is!

The true test would be for him to hold it in his hand!

Since Platinum is a dense metal, this order must feel very heavy even though it's only 29g of Platinum....

I recently brought back from london, a large part of my collection which i had accumulated over 11 years, almost all of it bought in the Central Asian and Caucasian Republics. After all this time I was surprised at the stuff i had, and over the coming weeks will post as many interesting ones as i can.
I am attaching 4 scans here. Two of Suvurov 2nd class and 2 of 3rd class. I think i bought one in Uzbekistan and the second in Baku.
The second class is numbered 914 and the 3rd class 8610
Gentlemen , your views?

I don't like the MM on the 2nd Class.
To me the rivets are a bit off. (in the wrong place)

Could you post better scans of the fronts, it's hard to tell, and they both look suspicious.
