Is it Chernobyl medal?
I was oferred this medal as a Chernobyl accident medal.
It looks like nuclear accident or explosion. What questions me is the date on the medal - September 29, 1957. :confused: The Chernobyl Nuclear Plant was built in 1970 :confused: I don't have the reverse of the medal, I asked for it. Eric |

This medal was designed by Russian or Uktainian (I am not sure) company Demiyrg for awarding workers, who participated in the clean-up of Chernobyl. 20th Annyversary.
The medal is in Ukranian language. So, it is probably Ukrainian company. Eric |
