Could i get an opinion please. I believe these badges were made in the 80's and out of aluminium, but this one just looks "cheaply" made. Thanks

Most of the KGB anniversary badges of the federated states are cheaply made, but nevertheless, IMHO, the real thing

Both badges are genuine. The KGB is made of aluminum, Border is brass.

OK thanks Alexei. I just found the quality not up to par with what I am used to seeing especially for the amount of money these badges sell for.

Some local KGB badges are very cheap, especially the 50th anniversary of the Ukraine KGB, but this border badge is real nice.
