Re: Doing Some Research on the "Spider"
Alexei,
I don't know if it is any help, but I have 107449. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by mirror other than the back of mine has all for rocket parts indented into the metal. If you need pics, just let me know and I'll take them tomorrow outside in the sunlight - seems to work better than with just a lamp. Just trying to be of service, Phillip

Re: Doing Some Research on the "Spider"
Hi Alexei,
Any chance of narrowing down the date for mine S/N 70572? Right now it's somewhere between 69896 - April 5, 1985 and 73806 - February 22, 1988 :) Doc |

Re: Doing Some Research on the "Spider"
Marc,
Many thanks! :thumbsup I was missing all three. Do you have scans? 14914 should be a weak partial mirror, and it would be nice if 18362 were a weak partial mirror reverse :) Alexei |

Re: Doing Some Research on the "Spider"
Alexei,
Sorry I waited until the last minute to try to get photos and with the family gathering today, well...my battery died while I was taking these. I think I have a good one of the reverse, but the face is another story. I give you what I have and try for better shots tomorrow after the battery charges.:o

Let's rock some well established beliefs :)
And now for something completely different (my sincerest apologies to MP for this shameless hijack of their superior art form).
It is widely accepted that the Order for Service to the Motherland in the Armed Forces 3rd Class was issued up to approximately SN 70,000 +/- What if I told you that in fact orders with much higher SN than that were actually issued? For example SN 119009 :D Here is the culprit  Marc Last edited by Lapa; 06-22-2009 at 10:35 AM. |
