The Korean Liberation 40th Anniversary Commemorative Medal (조선해방40돐기녕메달) was founded 25th July 1985 and is to date the only Medal commemorating an anniversary of the Liberation of Korea from The Empire Of Great Japan. The Medal design features two "Liberators" under a banner and is constructed of plated copper. The Medal suspension is a unique design to this award. This weighty piece is uncommon on the market and even less frequently seen in wear.
