Mongolian headgear 1939 -45?
Hello,
i see that medals73 posted a photo (20 Feb 2012) of a Mongolian schlem with a blue cloth star and red badge. Does anyone know if the "pitloika" sidecap also had the blue cloth star or just a small red star badge ? Did officers peaked caps have plain or blue / red cap bands . Generals had red cap bands , not too sure about more junior officers. John. |
