I am glad it helps. I was going through my books and found this. It's a 1931 badge for veterans of Severo-Zapadnaya Armiya. According to the book, it's design is based on the arm patch they wore. Alexei |

Andddd . . . .
2- Officers' dolman (pelisse?) from the Zavolzhskaya Cavalry Brigade; they went over en masse to the Bolsheviks . . . with very basic Red Guards armband . . . if you look under the right light you can see "RKKA" on the patch. Closeup. Heavy padded/quilted interior and fur ("fur"?) collar. And, for those who like to see the backs of ribbon bars the . . . er . . . uum . . . back side. And . . . on the left . . . in natural light, you can see the star outline and "RKKA" in black. The gray triangle . . . "rank" . . . Komandir Otdeleniya? . . . this early???
