WWII North Africa Event

My Father served in the US Army in North Africa and Italy during WWII. Desantnik, did you happen to serve there then? My father NEVER would talk to me about what happened there, I know he got a Purple Heart, that's about it.

Not sure there were any Soviet troops there. Unless you count Iran (which is Middle East). Did I miss something?

Would there be a description of command landing vessels?

Interestingly, there were three Soviet reenactors depicting the 193 Rifle Division, two RKKA soldiers - a lieutenant and starshina, and a borderguard. Eastern front nazis and a few Afrika Korps.

If anyone can make it, stop by.

No US landing craft, but some really nice surprises like a US WWII Harley, German kettenkrad, 20mm air defense cannon, etc.
