Fake M1943 Marshal on E

From a seller who has a poor reputation....M1943 "Marshal" of the USSR.

The embroidery is right, or at least the pattern is, but wrong material ( not real gold, modern artificial thread)...no order holes, but the killer is the tunic and hat material. Its a covercoat material, used for postwar coats ( the color can pass for wartime grey)...the stamps are from a theatre.

The price is great, if it were real.

From a distance the color does not look wrong. Note the flat cuffs, showing the incorrect construction.

Are the shoulderboards and cap badge genuine though?

I'd rather look them over before judging them, not as apparant as the tunic and hat themselves....to me, once a part is fake, it kills the credibility of the set. Here, a very fake uniform makes me suspect of all aspects ( not to mention the reputation of the seller, not good in my opinion.)

The seller has relisted this "gem". I am glad he provided a photo of an original; even the novice can see the fabric does not come close to matching up.
