I don't see anything wrong with this doc. There is one concern and it's a red banner entry (15 years service) which is after a Lenin entry (20 years service). But maybe Lenin was given for something else, then the book is perfectly fine.

Guys,

Maybe my monitor needs it's yearly cleaning, but I can't figure out any of those entries. Can't even see the Lenin entry. Any chance of a better scan of the last three entries?

The last two entries appear to be for another Red star, and then a long-service Red Banner. Of course, since I can't read them well, that's just a guess, but it's what I'd expect to see... :D Definately need a better scan of the numbers.

Dave,

That's what I thought they were, but the Red Star appears to have a six-digit serial number, or a seven-digit, starting with a "4". Hmmmm.... Let's wait for a better scan.

Here's a whole rash of documents that I think are questionable. Your opinions?

Badge of Honor document

"Glory 1st Class" document

This is a bad picture, but I can make out that the s/n on the Homeland is 137,XXX... I don't think any numbered that high were ever issued, esp in the 1980's!

HSL doc... What's missing?

Labor Glory Cavalier group...

Hanging Nevsky...

Now for a doc for a screwback Nevsky...

This doc was with a pair of PW's...

And finally, this doc with a screwback Red Banner

Dave,

Thanks for posting them. I agree, they all have problems - added entries in genuine documents or fake entries in blank documents. This collection shows a sad reality of today's market!

What's really sad is that all of these belong to the same guy who bought them all on one trip to Russia. I bet he made a lot of dealers really happy by willingly buying all their fakes!

Dave,

Do you think he really bought them as genuine items? I find that hard to believe - a person spending that much $$$ should at least know something about what he is bying.
