Soviet Busts.
Hi everybody,
I own a Bronze bust depicting Josef Stalin. It stands 72 cm tall (about 28 inches tall), and weights 56 kg. I've searched around a bit on the internet and realised that it's quite rare due to the fact that most of these monuments were destroyed after Stalin died. Although I've been able to locate some Stalin busts in similar sizes standing in public areas in small city's in Russia. Now, to my question; Does anybody know how many of such busts Stalin could've produced and how many of these would still be left? Since there are many knowledgeable people on this forum, I thought this was a good place to ask about my Stalin bust. Thanks in advance for your replies. Sincerely, JED |
