Rusty,

the uniform is a lieutenant marine pilot. I think it is all in silver. The scan is not very good, as the picture in the book is not so clear.

The photo os of Anton Shalito in an officer of naval air technical service uniform ( pilots had gold insignia; naval air tech. had silver).

You will need a silver belt for your uniform.

Nice tunic and visor Rusty! I love the tunics and visors from WWII; like you I wish they stored as easy as the medals did though!
