Award Boxes/Cases.

Hi

I have several Cardboard boxes, in which medals were awarded. They are ugly, with a big stamp with the name of the award. I also have a very nice box for the order of lenin. i will like to see what other version of presentation box there are. The best looking box I saw is for the order of Freindship among peoples, pictured in McDaniel's book.

So - what else is out there?

I've always wanted an Order of Friendship with box as shown in McDniels book. Gorgeous!

Regarding the Box for the copy of order of Lenin: I have one of those, and it is very well made, and there is NO number on the back or faked rivets. my question: who made those copies? And to invest in a nice box???

I do not know if he is awarding or being awarded. I belive the latter.

I am not so sure this box is genuine, thay are usually red and don't have any text on the top. It could of cause be a local issue or something.

Hi Munroe,

The HSL box looks original to me. Not so sure about the Lenin box, I have never seen them with cloth covered interior.
