No that isn't the problem. (I have asked often for a forum reorganization to make the forum more group-friendly, and have given up.)

What got me was the blacking-out of the address on the originals and, of course, in the translation. I assume this was done in the research process? What will be edited-out next?!

Ok. As for "edited-out", as you can see it's the "Podvig naroda" system, not mine!

Generally, yes. However, I don't think it should be hard to understand blacking out a veteran's home address as a privacy measure. It's a negligible inconvenience for us, especially in comparison to the millions of documents we now have free access to.
