Kremlin tower, rising
Here's a nice one. I put it here since I think it's just a patriotic piece.
It's a teeny litte fella; 16mm at it's tallest point. It pictures the Kremlin Spasskaya tower (I think) with the sun rising behind it. Brass and enamel, so I think it's older. It's got a makers mark but it is so small I can't make out any distinguishing features of it.

Re: Kremlin tower, rising
For lack of a better place here's his tiny buddy.
Nice, early post-GPW quality Lenin pin with MMA makers mark on the reverse. A little worse for wear but still proud.

Re: Kremlin tower, rising
The first one looks as though it could be one of the variants of the Spasskaya Tower on the OGIIIs.;)
I think I recognize the mint mark. Let me have a look on my badge "chest" and see if I find what I'm looking for. Phillip

Re: Kremlin tower, rising
That's exactly what I was thinking. It would make a great little addition to a OG display.

Re: Kremlin tower, rising
I don't seem to be able to find that mint mark on anything I have. But, under high magnification of the picture, I'm guessing it's a "П" which could stand for an early (and very tiny) Pobeda factory. I believe they were one of the earliest badge makers. Just a guess.:)
