Two new acquisitions

I'm confident about the white/summer fisheries patch, but have doubts about the "Guard of Important State Objects" patch, since I have never seen or heard of anything like it. Whatever the case, I thought you all would be interested.

Left just reads "Security" or "Guard". The right is for the Fishing Ministry.

Does anyone have a photo of someone wearing one of these security/guard patches? I think it's legit, but like so many patches I'm always leery of their authenticity.

PastFinder,

The 'Охрана' badge is most certainly legit, given the number of security and guard companies around. Now, I do not think that it dates from the Soviet era.

This was my thought on the matter. It's a real patch, but not necessarily period. I'll hold on to it and add it to the pile, haha, of patches I have. I think my next area of focus will be on railroad patches so I can at least build up a collection of them.
