Can anyone of you guys identify this piece of militaria?

Thanks in advance! :thumbsup

Re: Soviet Belt?

I get a non-Soviet feeling but I would recommend to wait for others to give their opinions.

Re: Soviet Belt?

I do get a non-soviet feeling myself...
It COULD be one of those stomach belts with shoulder straps. (Just that this one doesn't include the strap)
Also if it's leather, it's most likely some officers+ gear. And if they went that far, as by giving someone a leather belt, it would at least contain some Soviet pentagrams or/and a hammer and sickle...

But I would wait for other responses, before you draw any conclusion.

Or the curvy stiching that I think was common on GPW belts.

Re: Soviet Belt?

I like military (because of double catch) but not soviet. Narrow buckle width and belt loop at edge of leather isn't like any soviet belt I've seen

Yes, I've seen that kind of stitching on almost every WW2 Soviet leather belts I've seen.

Re: Soviet Belt?

I feel heavy duty agricultural rather than military. I'm agriculturally raised on the double catch (outside the USA). Even if the chance of this being military is 50/50 the chance of it being Soviet Military is not.

Re: Soviet Belt?

Thanks for your usefull replies guys! I'm not going to buy this item. :thumbsup

But I do think it is military due to its buckle and the nature of the belt itself.
