Medals to GPW Infantry Uniform set
The seller told me:
1. One red banner was missing - replaced by one without Nr engraving 2. In my opinion the number of the ogpw 2nd cl. was changed to 78279 The rest should be ok! My be someone knows why the order of red banner was awarded twice? Please write my your opinion about the originality of that group. Thank you :thumbsup |

Yes ,seems to be that the serial number is changed. Yes, it was possible to got the Red Banner more than once. A few persons got the Red Banner 6 or 7 times. Red Banner were awarded for military actions, for long Service in the Army "25years" and so on. Guys,
The SN change on the OPW2 78279 is a genuine Monetniy Dvor product. Now, the fact that there is no SN on the second ORB indicates very clearly that the original was lost and that this is a replacement, most likely effected by the seller. Marc |
