NKVD hat and shoulder boards, Orginal or Copy?

Hello, I was looking at buying these two items and I was wondering if these are ok? or if both of these are Copies? The seller said that they were from WW2 but I am not sure. I would be thankful for any help that anyone can give.

IMO, shoulder-boards are copies - these appear to be the type offered by firms that cater to reenactors. The stars that adorn them are the mid-50s and up type.

I do not particularly care for the sweatband in the cap. The chinstrap is the plastic 70s and up type. The star-cockarde also seems post-war.

To be honest that visor is one of the nicest reproductions of NKVD hats I've seen.
But then again who needs one when you're not a reenactor. :P
Well, I guess they look okay as space fillers.

...Ahhh, one day I'll have a real one! :D

I agree with what has been said and the fact that the blue of the stripes on the shoulder boards is not the same as the blue of the border piping (at least in the picture) only makes it confusing to me.:(

As I said, I'm just a novice regarding cloth so could one of you explain why piping would be different than officer stripes? I just don't understand because of my limited experience in this area.
