re: Bravery Medal,Stalingrad,RARE catchup unnumbered
Sir,
From a collectors stand point this would be a jewel in one's collection. What a great write up. I take it you have the order that goes with the citation? NTAT |

Lucky Kapustki! How did you find this numberless Bravery medal!
And by the way, what are again the possible numbers to check for Stalingrad medals? It might worth researching my early Braveries if I have one of these! ;)

Bryansky, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeell, there is this certain damn Aussie OG3 vaccuum in this here forum who sold it to me last year.:D
Dude, the best way is to get a copy of Echoes of War. I believe that you have an extensive collection and it's worth it's weight in gold for finding candidates for research. I bought the other Stalingrad award based on the book and have done so many times with others. |

re: Bravery Medal,Stalingrad,RARE catchup unnumbered
Hehe ... I bought that book the week it was out. I was just wondering how lucky you have to be to find a catch-up award for Stalingrad battle. One have to research a lot to find a needle like this in a haystack.

Re: For Bravery,U/N 1983,Commander Of Rifle Team,61st Rifle Regiment,Stalingrad
This is a "Wounds" awards and not a "catch-up". This was awarded in 1983 rather than simply "issued" in 1983 (and awarded way back when).
