Hello all

Do any one collect badges, medals and other komsomol awards? do you have something interesting to show?

I have started collecting those award badges several years ago, and was absolutely amazed how huge this area is, especialy with Summer Construction Brigades badges. I have couple of hundreed pieces in my collection, will post some.

This is a 1989 KOMSOMOL Central Committee Badge for Excellent Military Service

Another one, but 1968. It is believed that less than 300 were awarded.

"Golden Hands" Medal - an award for best workers.

Another one of the same type, with image of screwnut. These were manufactured on Moscow Mint.

Another Komsomol award medal - it says on the bottom "Komsomol Central Commitee (CK VLKSM)"
