Hello Tal,
thank you for the detailed cataloging of this award group, which is not being discussed much. The listing helps me to see what I have and what is missing.

As a small contribution from my end, here are the sizes of the three types:
Large Medal: 26.25 mm
Small Medal: 23.1 to 23.2 mm
Laureate BDHX: 30 mm

They fit into this framework:

Small BDHX medal:

Type 1 - Small Gold medal, SB.
Type 1 Var. 1 - Small Gold medal, PB.
Type 2 - Brass medal, SB.
Type 2 Var. 1 - Brass medal, PB.
Type 3 - nickel alloy SB.
Type 3 Var - nickel alloy, PB.

Type 4 - Young participant of the BDHX (most likely exist in the three classes)

So - T4 V1 - "gold" medal
T4 V2 - "silver" (nickel)
T4 V3 - Brass

Laureate BDHX - only one variation known At the moment.

Well, I saw the smal BDHX medals with blue and pink ribbons. But I found this image from a poster (This is the best quality I can get from the original picture I got on the web) and there the ribbon is RED!
