General Hat Cockade

I've started to build a collection of hat cockades, and was pleased to find this one. From what I understand, it is for general officers.

This would be sold as an M1940 cap badge for Generals...however, can I ask if it came off Ebay?

You are correct, I bought this from a dealer on Ebay. For $10.00 I thought that I would take a chance and buy it.

It's a nice copy of a real M1940 badge (real ones are in the hundreds of dollars)!

The green background is for border guard generals.

I've seen these little guys for sale!
Mostly from Ukrainian stores but they are modelled after the 40s style cockade.
They come in light blue, dark blue, red and green I thinks.

It isnt bad looking.
