Comrade Stetsenko for the period of residence in the position of head of 5th section of staff of the division has shown bravery, courage, good knowledge of the staff affairs of commanders and heads. In the period of defence of the division in the mountains, when the enemy several times a day went on the offensive and created a very tense situation, Comrade Stetsenko with a good improvised collective of the section, with the regiments during the time of a gush of telephone communications timely and exactly informed about the position of the commander of the division and staff of the army. Encrypted Communication.
All of the period from 15th September 1942 to 31st December 1942 the section under the leadership of Comrade Stetsenko had worked out incoming encrypted telegrams - 810 and outgoing - 715.
In the period of breaking a section of defensive line on the Thamaha ridge despite of difficult communications Comrade Stetsenko also uninterruptedly, ahead of time with a great accuracy maintained encrypted communication of the commanders of the regiments with the commander of the division and the commander of the division with the staff of the army.
In difficult passage in mountainous-forested locations, where it was not always possible to wire communication, Comrade Stetsenko supplied combat dispositions and orders of the commander of the division timely transmitting encrypted communication.
For the period from 01-01-1943 to 10-08-1943 Comrade Stetsenko worked out incoming encrypted telegrams - 473, outgoing 446.
Combat encrypted telegrams of the value of 150-200 groups were worked out in 20-30 minutes, at the normal rate of one hour. The indicated rate of working out encrypted telegrams is explained by a special method of work, worked out by the section of Comrade Stetsenko in the course of the war.
Comrade Stetsenko is always located at the command point of the commander of the division, as well as in units, where he gives concrete orders for uninterrupted encrypted communication.
