Diploma Of The Supreme Soviet Of The Lithuanian SSR

Ran into this. Looks...odd. Claims its Lithuanian. He has alot of other pretty legit looking stuff, but I'm not at all sure about this thing.

It looks to be a Diploma Of The Supreme Soviet Of The Lithuanian SSR recipient's portable Badge dating from the 1970's-80's. Each SSR had its equivalent. Ukrainian ones are most frequently seen.

The "strange" production of this is down to in being produced outside the state mints that people use a the benchmark of USSR items. It was most likely made in Vilnius.

For some reason Lithuanian items are considerably rarer than the items from their neighbour Latvia.

These are fairly common and should not be expensive - you will find another one if you look, and yes, its the badge that was given with the Gramota from the Supreme Soviet of the Lithuanian SSR.
