In November 1941 she served in the post of resident physician in the naval hospital No3, which showed a high quality of clinical care.

In May 1942, Comrade Verigina A.S was appointed head of the hospital for recovering officers (Hospital No90). Under her guidance and direct participation - it has turned into a great hospital facility that has become the most popular in the Fleet.

Through the efforts of Comrade Verigina and her team, in the hospital they organized a physiotherapy room, hydrotherapy and physical therapy office, which are equipped with the most advanced equipment.

5249 officers have passed through the hospital, many of whom whom had the consequences of serious injuries, but due to high quality medical care - returned to duty. 2347 officers of coastal defence ships, submarine brigades, and skerry ship brigades received their rest and treatment at this facility, after returning from their military campaigns.

While undergoing their treatment and rest, the officers, due to the excellent service and fine coziness speak with gratitude about the hospital.

Through the establishment of a comprehensive checkup for the treated personnel of the Navy (X-rays, blood tests, blood pressure measurements, etc.) - they were able to detect early forms of hypertension , TAC and based on this, preventive measures could be taken to prevent diseases .

Comrade Verigina, thanks to the good organization of farms, provided the patients with extra food, rich in vitamins, preventing the emergence and development of deficiency diseases among officers of ships and units of the fleet.

Comrade Verigina is worthy of the award Order "Red Star" .
