Awards on display at the Mongolian Military Museum.

Until May, there is a small exhibition of Communist countries' army uniform at the Mongolia Military Museum. Nicely, there is a small exhibition of the orders and medals of some of the Communist countries there as well. Here are the photos I took there. Sorry for the quality. It is pity that the knowledge of the museum staff is too superficial on the topic of phaleristics: the Soviet Order of Glory, 1st Class is captioned as. Well you can see it yourself.

Picture #2 Mostly Eastern European nations' awards here.
Picture #3 Communist Bulgarian orders.
Pictures #4 and 5 Communist Romanian, Polish, Hungarian, etc. orders

Re: Communist camp country awards on display at the Mongolian Military Museum

Interesting, and hopefully a sign of also more interest in Mongolia's own orders/medals.

Very interesting. Thanks for this. But it does look like they need a phaleristic advisor. Have you volunteered for the job?

Phaleristic advisor is needed for sure the two GDR awards, Kampforden „Für Verdienste um Volk und Vaterland“ and the Scharnhorst Orden are not labeled at all.
Still interesting though thank you for the images.

Regards Eddie
