Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

In fighting for the village of Kerlisul(sp?) on 17.4.44 while restoring damaged and broken tanks in no-man’s-land he repelled two enemy counterattacks with damaged tanks, firing from their immobile location.

In this engagement he destroyed two cannons, eight machineguns and as much as a company of enemy soldiers and officers.

For courage and bravery he is deserving of the Order of the Patriotic War II Class.
