Unusual VDV dembel uniform.

Here is a complete VDV dembel uniform that I picked up yesterday in Estonia. The VDV patch has been modified as well as the service year stripes on the left sleeve. Around the collar is red velvet and the CA letters are metal.

Too bad, the badges are a mess, they were in the pocket, lack screwplates and some seem to be missing.

Interesting, as I have a Merchant Marine patch where someone carefully removed certain letters...not to spell anything but I think to use on other patches, such as these. Very cool find nonetheless...I've saved the images into my database already :)

Here's a VDV Dembel uniform that I recently picked up from an ebay store. The VDV Dembel patch was formerly an Aviation patch. Although not shown in the photo below, when the uniform arrived it had a nice para badge attached.

Interesting that you have a peaked cap with that uniform. You do realise that if it came with the uniform then its reallly early 1970s. I think it must have been about 1972 when blue berets were worn as part of the service / parade uniform for enlisted men.
