Estonian Regional Soviet Badges

Most of these were grabbed up quickly, or hoarded at relatively low prices for speculation. They are still out there if you look, in Tallinn, on ebay, and on some of the Russian websites. If anyone out there is interested - I would recommend getting one quickly, in a few years, these will have disappeared and become expensive again.

Here is the document that supposedly would go with this badge. Some of my collecting friends in Estonia question the authenticity of this document. They do not question its age, but they do question if such a document actually existed or if it was a fantasy type document from this very confusing political period.

It is not the usual Ülemnoukogo badge for Highest Soviet in Estonian SSR, but according to the seller, a badge for the interregional deputies of Estonia SSR in the early 1990s. Or so I was told. I have seen it before in a cheaper model, but this has same quality and "weight" as the earlier badges, not lightweight with inferior enamel.

Sry for the late answer, but all original badges had cold enamel. Also in this quantity of badges what was found. On some badges cold enamel was removed and hot enamel was placed instead of cold. Why ? To get more money, of course:) So badge is original, but enamel not.
