For Soviet WWII buffs, there are two video series that may be of interest irregardless of level of Russian language comprehension.

On youtube.come cut and past "Освободители / Фильм" (Liberators) or visit Военное видео - военное видео смотреть онлайн, смотреть онлайн, военная тайна, военная тайна с Игорем Прокопенко смотреть онлайн, ударна�.

Another possiblility is to cut and paste "Алтарь Победы" (Altar of Victory).

I make no claim to the videos' objectivity, for example certain disreputable information concerning sticky topics like SMERSH, NKVD, blocking detachments, etc. are either ignored, softened, or laughingly disputed, but the majority of the series' content is both interesting, informative, and more or less followable to even those with no Russian language ability.
