Best Driver Without Accident Badge
It must have been challenging to have all those screwback badges. Not only did those screwposts poke holes in your clothing, and in you, but it could be so easy for a screwpost to stray from its badge, and different threading didn't always make playing mix-and-match as easy as it seems (or as it may be for today's dealers). But you could always improvise.
It seems the recipient of this badge for The Best Driver without Accident (Battushig P 13) faced just such a problem. But he found a replacement for his screwback. |

Re: How (not) to repair a badge
:laff
I'm still puzzled by what part of a Pepsi product he got that plastic from. I first thought a plastic bottle cap, but the little "star" doesn't seem like it would be there. Then again, who knows? I'm not a Pepsi drinker. Got to give it up for ingenuity... Phillip

Re: How (not) to repair a badge
Good question. My guess is that it is from some sort of plastic delivery crate for large bottles of Pepsi? Not sure. But maybe we can guess what he drove around without accident?

Or the gigantic Kentucky Fried Chicken just behind Mao's tomb in Beijing.
