I have seen several times while in the Baltic states, very interesting "orders of Stalin", you know that large one, shaped like some kind of big star with Stalins head on and inscription
"Generalissimus.... "... The prices have varied, but I cannot recall what the best price was. I think someone in Tallinna offered it for 1000 euro. Are these fakes or is there a chance any of them are original? What is to look for on these monster sized orders? :)

So far chances of finding a genuine Order of Stalin are zero. At least two are know to be in private collections, and they won't be for sale for a loooong time.
