Help Required

I am a novice collector of Soviet medals, orders, coins and badges particularly Czarist badges and associated items. I work in Azerbaijan so I have had access to various pieces over the last few years. They have been bought mainly on looks and I now need help in identifying them. Anyone interested in helping out? I have something in the region of 250 to 300 pieces mostly badges from sporting activities to astronauts and just about everything in between. I would like to start with the most interesting in my opinion. Hope you guys are able to help out.

Jim,

An interesting piece. I believe it's not a standard military issue badge, but rather a commemorative military "jetton", sort of like a souvenir for good memories of service.
