Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment
During the Army’s offensive operations Chief of Staff Engineer Captain Strazhevskii has succinctly organized his work, achieving rapid concentration of the battalion’s personnel to fulfill the Command’s urgent combat missions.
Due to his operational work Engineer Captain Strazhevskii made the following accomplishments:
1. Construction of a bridge across the Bzura river at the village of Konary six hours ahead of schedule.
2. Construction of a bridge across the Utrata river at Sokhachev three hours ahead of schedule.
3. Construction of a bridge at the village of Rozhen on the Sluzhevo-Torn highway in fifteen hours, five hours ahead of schedule.
4. Clearance of snow blockage on the Johanistal-Bromberg, Bromberg-Nakel, and Nakel –Zini highways.

For excellent leadership and well organized work accomplished ahead of schedule and supporting the continuous flow of vehicle transportation and equipment loaded with ammunition to the front lines, Engineer Captain Strazhevskii is deserving of the Order of the Red Star.
