Russian Civil War Unit flag

Unlike the one on E, here is a real 1918-1920 Red Army unit standard for the 7th Rifle Regt. of the 24th "Iron" Division.

Known as the 24th 'Samar-Ulyanov' Division for liberating these cities. Division/ Regt. formed in July 1918.

These flags, needless to say, are VERY rare : )

The Central Armed Forces museum only has a few, while they have many from WWII.

They are gorgeous flags, but very costly! sadly (for me) this one is on its way to its new home this afternoon.

Nice banner! How is the picture of the guy and the mountain scene done? Is it all embroidered?

yes, embroidered right on; all hand done. the quality of the unit flags from 1918-1922 is incredible. each one unique.
