This is a badge given to employees of the state run tourist board in 1952.........hey I guess they did travel.

I saw this badge last week - a freind got this badge for almost nothing...but it was cheaper looking. I think your badge is older version.

This cost me 5 bucks.......I liked the document above all, love the fact that it got issued in 52..........smells good........during Stalins time......

Thats what I love about badges......even if you are short of a few bob you can indulge and enjoy

The BD badge and doc I posted today cost 2 dollars......love it

I notice there is no direction for south on the badge, just in case it gave bad ideas............perhaps.......another LOL Tal

Perhaps I am wrong... But for me this is not employee's badge, but reather turist club member's badge.

It's a tourist badge.
These were given out in the 50's & the 60's.

This particular one is from 1973.

So it would stand that they were given out in the 70's as well... ;)
