What do you think of this Valiant Labor Medal?

If it's good I think it's a new highest S/N known for a T1V1.

I just noticed this: look at the suspension on this medal http://www.soviet-awards.com/forum/s...html#post76162. I have yet to see a good medal on this type of suspension. This particular medal is also the earliest I've seen referenced to these suspensions. I wish I knew who Tom got this from.

Many thanks for the scans!

Even from the hi res scans I can't tell if the dash is genuine, but I doubt evenybody would fake it :) The serial number is genuine. I am guessing it was left at the mint for some reason and got numbered only with the next batch. I will check my collection of scans and see if I can find another one.

Marc, what do you think?

Alexei,

It looks rather convincing to me. I believe that it got mixed with no-dash versions and was numbered as they came from the bag, a bit similar to the border OG3 numbered 155k.
