In 1968 the Bulgarian and Soviet governments made an agreement allowing Bulgaria to develop the Komi ASSR for foresting and trade. The Bulgarians came in and created new settlements and populated them entirely with Bulgarian workers. It was a difficult start but the wood resources were considerably larger than the resources of Bulgaria.
His Honour Badge "Excellent" of the State Economic Association "Logging And Construction" was awarded 19th October 1983.

An outrageously rare externally awarded Jubilee Medal awarded 21st July 1982. Around a month later than internal awards due to logistics. Awarded by Usogorsk in the Komi ASSR, RSFSR, Soviet Union.
